From Nana’s Kitchen to Your Table
Originating from the heart of my Nana’s kitchen, Sid's Pizzeria Calabrese officially opened on April 10th, 2026. My family’s roots trace back to Cosenza, a Province in the region of Calabria, Italy.
They set sail for America in the late 1950’s- bringing along their cuisine, culture, and traditions to Blue Island, IL. Growing up here, and in a two block radius from my aunts and cousins, we spent countless hours at our Nana and Grandpa’s house…from enjoying Sunday Dinner, cooking, gardening, or canning. They taught us that the best meals are simple, made with love, and meant to be shared.
Today, Sid's Pizza is my way of keeping those memories and flavors alive. And we’re incredibly proud and honored to share a taste of our family with yours!
